When Oliver Krizek founded Infovision GesnbR in Vienna in 1994, he had a vision of digital solutions that would transform businesses. The transformation to InfoVision EDV Dienstleistungen GmbH the following year was just the beginning of an impressive journey.
The breakthrough came in 1998, when the company found its identity as an innovative software house and Navision partner. The foundation of Naviconsult EDV-Systemlösungen AG in 1999, with offices in Vienna, Graz and Linz, laid the foundations for a success story - with a clear focus on future-oriented software solutions with Navision (now Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).
The turn of the millennium brought a huge leap forward: a joint venture with Deloitte catapulted NAVAX to the next level. With the opening of the Salzburg branch and the development of the revolutionary NAVAX leasing solution (now HENRI), the company conquered new markets.
The turning point came in 2002 when Microsoft acquired Navision software - a clear signal of the outstanding quality that NAVAX embodied. The merger of InfoVision and Naviconsult formed a powerful team of around 80 visionaries.
As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in 2003, NAVAX expanded its portfolio to include Axapta (now Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Supply Chain Management) and Business Intelligence - a diversification that perfectly positioned the company for the digital future.
The international expansion began with the participation in "Partner Power". When Microsoft CRM 1.0 conquered the market, NAVAX was ready to lead the digital revolution.
With the founding of 4relation GmbH for CRM solutions and the renaming to NAVAX Consulting GmbH, a brand was born that stands for excellence. The modern headquarters at Euro Plaza in Vienna symbolised the company's rise to the elite of the tech world.
Inclusion in the prestigious Microsoft Inner Circle (top 50 partners worldwide) and appointment as a President's Club member emphasised the company's pioneering role. The addition of Microsoft.Net and SharePoint solutions showed that NAVAX is always thinking one step ahead.
By passing the 100-employee mark, NAVAX proved its ability to attract talent. The strategic alliance with Tectura AG, the world's largest Microsoft Dynamics partner, opened doors to global markets.
2008 brought one triumph after another: NAVAX won the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Channel Contest, became the best Microsoft Dynamics partner in Austria and once again achieved admission to the Microsoft Inner Circle and President's Club. Visionary as ever, the NAVAX group of companies introduced Software as a Service (SaaS) for the entire Microsoft Dynamics product range - long before cloud solutions became the standard.
A decisive moment for the future: in 2009, Oliver Krizek took over 100% of the shares in NAVAX Consulting GmbH, anchoring his personal vision at the heart of the company.
The second decade began with honours: renewed membership of the Microsoft Inner Circle and President's Club, 10th anniversary as the Microsoft Dynamics partner with the highest turnover in Austria and the award for best Austrian Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner.
NAVAX set standards with the highest qualification level in the areas of ERP and CRM in the new Microsoft Partner Programme. The relocation of the headquarters to Technologiestraße 8 symbolised the start of a new era.
The reorganisation and redesign of the NAVAX Group in 2011 brought NAVAX and 4relation closer together. With the third Gold Certified competence as an ISV (Independent Software Vendor) partner, NAVAX achieved an impressive hat-trick. The global recognition was underlined by the fact that NAVAX was a finalist at the Microsoft Award in Los Angeles in the category "Best Solution for the Financial Industry". The successful ISO 9001 certification of the entire group of companies sealed the commitment to the highest quality.
The 1st prize in the Sustainability category at the Austria's Leading Company Award 2012 showed that NAVAX thinks long-term. The Microsoft CRM Partner of the Year Award and two further gold certifications confirmed the technological leadership position.
With 4relation GmbH, NAVAX achieved 3rd place in the Austria's Leading Companies 2013 in the Vienna ranking of small companies and 13th place in the overall Austrian ranking - proof of sustainable performance.
2014 marked an international milestone: With 170 innovators at 8 locations in 3 countries, the opening of the office in Zurich and the move to a larger office in Cologne, NAVAX proved its European appeal. The renewed award as Microsoft Partner of the Year in Austria in the area of Microsoft Dynamics NAV crowned this expansive phase.
The certification as a leading Austrian company in 2015 emphasised the economic importance of NAVAX. As Microsoft Business Solutions Partner of the Year and a renewed member of the Microsoft President's Club, the company consolidated its position as an industry leader.
The right to bear the Austrian national coat of arms was awarded in 2016 - one of the highest honours for Austrian companies. The expansion of the site in Graz and the further development of NCLeasing into HENRI showed that innovation remains the focus.
In 2017, the successful ISO 27001 certification underlined the company's commitment to information security. The expansion of the Cologne site in the prestigious Kranhaus building and the founding of the "digibusters" knowledge platform for digital transformation in cooperation with Microsoft and holzhuber impaction proved this: NAVAX is a thought leader in digitalisation.
The acquisition of red.soft it-service GmbH in 2018 expanded the company's digitalisation expertise in the areas of the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and app development - technologies that are shaping the future. With VACE IT & SECURITY SERVICES, NAVAX offered support for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and demonstrated foresight in terms of compliance.
In 2019, the acquisition of KAISER-CRM GmbH strengthened the area of customer experience - a decisive competitive advantage in the digital era. As a Microsoft PowerApps partner, NAVAX opened up new opportunities for customised business applications. The HERMES.Wirtschafts.Preis in the "Services" category as the best Austrian service company and the opening of another location in Berlin-Strausberg underlined the company's continued success.
NAVAX demonstrated resilience even in the face of the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic in 2020: the Graz site was expanded, 4relation GmbH was renamed NAVAX Customer Experience GmbH and, bucking the trend, employees were hired. Oliver Krizek's recognition as a finalist in the Entrepreneur Of The Year competition and passing the 200-employee mark sealed a phase of unprecedented strength.
Maguar Capital Management GmbH's investment in NAVAX in 2021 heralded a new phase of growth. The 2nd place of NAVAX Customer Experience at Austria's Leading Companies in Styria confirmed that NAVAX is one of the top companies.
With Dr Björn Heppner as the new Chief Financial Officer and the acquisition of afb Application Services GmbH in 2022, NAVAX strengthened its financial services portfolio and established new locations in Munich, Dresden and Görlitz. The appointment of Markus Birk as CEO of NAVAX Consulting GmbH brought fresh management impetus.
In 2023, NAVAX passed the 300-employee mark - proof of its continued attractiveness as an employer. With Martina Neumayr as CEO of NAVAX Software GmbH and the continued expansion course, it is clear that the inspiring journey of the NAVAX Group has only just begun.
